A Pop of Vibrancy

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Yellow.”

The right shade of yellow can be such a warm, cheerful hue, and this week’s Photo Challenge feels like a nice pop of brightness during the winter season.

I think it’s safe to say I’m missing the warmer summer weather since both of my photos today are from excursions during recent warmer months.

First up, a photo from the Denver Botanic Gardens where I was experimenting with aperture and got a shot I’m really pleased with.

Secondly, a bit of chrome detail from one of the cars at the National Street Rod Association show.
